Fall 2011 Elections

Event: Fall 2011 Elections
Date: Monday September 26, 2011
Time: 7-10 p.m.
Room: MC 4058

Hope all of you have had a great term so far. For those of you who are returning, welcome back! As for new students, please accept our warmest greetings. We are ISAW, the Iranian Students Association of Waterloo.

Yes, it’s that time of year again: a new term has started and ISAW needs a new executive team. To learn more on how you can run, please visit our website. On another note, the constitution has been reviewed this summer, and both the new and old versions have been posted here. To solidify these changes and officialise the new constitution, we will be holding a public session.

Anyone who is interested in voicing their opinions and comments is encouraged to attend as we will be voting the new constitution into validity. Both the Constitution meeting and the Elections will be held this coming Monday, September 26th. From 7:00PM-8:00PM, the constitution meeting and its associated voting as well as a coffee/tea break will take place. The elections will be held in the latter part of the evening, during which candidates will have a chance to introduce themselves. Voting will start at 8:30PM.

So if you are interested in running for an executive position, voicing your opinion on the new constitution, volunteering with us, or generally becoming more familiar with ISAW and its activities, please join us on Monday. See you there!
